Guest guest
Yes, Stan, you're doing your job very well. LOL. What we really needed was a court jester, because laughter even burns calories, I read in my AARP bulletin today. Sue On Apr 24, 2009, at 8:07 PM, Shay wrote: > I'm with you Betty. Guest guest
has a phobia about moths. He told me to check it out online and I would find that its not an uncommon fear. I told him I really don't care and I'm not his personal computer geek. He's perfectly capable of using his own computer. I just wondered if your sock monkey is afraid of moths? Guest guest
Has anyone noticed when you join AARP every schmuck in the country who has a product which could loosely be interpreted as " use for seniors " is suddenly calling, mailing, and sending you e-mail? If I need rubber sheets I'll go down to Walmart and get 'em. I don't need AARP approving my elected representatives or telling me what to buy. And when I do, perhaps I should not be voting anyway! (On the other hand, I keep reading all that AARP stuff, lol!) Stan Seattle, Cloudy. Yes, Stan, you're doing your job very well. LOL. Guest guest
I hope my sock monkey is not afraid of moths, because we currently have an invasion of little moth-like critters flying around in the house. They started in some bird food, but when I put the bird food outside, the critters stayed. I believe they must be reproducing. Instead of moths, I believe they are some kind of weevils. I keep killing them, and they keep coming. Sue On Apr 25, 2009, at 4:12 PM, stanpfister@... wrote: > > has a phobia about moths. Guest guest
Sue, I have that problem every year too with whatever those little critters are and mine start out in my birdseed too. They are very hard to get rid of. Guest guest
So have you found a way to get rid of them? I guess I'll go through everything in the house that they could thrive on, any thing with grain, and see what else they have gotten into and throw it away. I could put the birdseed outside in plastic containers, but then the squirrels eat holes in the plastic to get at the food. I can't win for losing. Guest guest
So what you're saying is that your sock monkey probably got in the box himself? At least that's what thinks. Guest guest
So is thinking that my sock monkey actually likes these flying weevils? Maybe he's helping them reproduce? I shall have a little talk with him! Sue On Apr 25, 2009, at 10:22 PM, stanpfister@... wrote: > > > So what you're saying is that your sock monkey probably got in the > box himself? Guest guest
No, I quit keeping the bird seed in the house and they FINALLY all died off. I used every kind of bug spray possible and it would kill the ones flying around but they just kept multiplying in the seed bin. (I kept the seed in one of the bins that are tall and have wheels on it that was actually for dog food) Took that out to the garage and it stays there now. Guest guest
said he meant the shoe box where your sock monkey was put away. Then he said something I can't repeat. Stan, Seattle, Cloudy. Guest guest
My sock monkey doesn't get put away in a shoe box! He has his own little house. It used to be a doll house. Does have to be put away in a shoe box? How do you expect him to breathe?
