Guest guest
i am so sorry to hear you had such a bad day. try to take a breather. it sucks when people are mean to you. i hope you feel better soon. evelynette Limegrover <palime22@...> wrote: Good evening everyoneI had a mixed day yesterday as most of it went well until I took my dad to see a couple who work in a store in the afternoon. I ended up going out of my way in order to do a flip flop to go the way I needed to go except for mile long cars. As soon as I got there turned on my turn signal dad says, Turn Here DO I Have to Tell You Everything TO DO? This time I screamed at him saying That's what I was going to do leave me alone. Oh, now you're going to abuse me verbally you just want to fight, just because I wanted to see my friends is why you're fighting with me. It continued after a few minutes after arriving home. Guest guest
Dear ette, Is there anyplace else you can live besides that abusive place? Abuse, in any form, is a burden that makes all of our illnesses worse and does not do one thing that is helpfull. I lived with it too long and know how much better I feel away from it. ; ) Willow --- ette Limegrover <palime22@...> wrote: > Good evening everyone > > I had a mixed day yesterday as most of it went well > until I took my dad to > see a couple who work in a store in the afternoon. Stan, That is too funny, I need to remember that for when my hubby doesn't do his one chore of taking out the trash. LMAO!! > > It all started last tuesday. It was raining like there was no tomorrow here in maryland. I go to get into my truck and slip on the side step hit my wrist on the door. I went to work anyway and started my normal day. By noon I was in some serious pain but worked through it as I usually do with my RA. By 2pm my wrist was swelled up, so I went upstairs to see my boss and let him know I needed to go to the ER and get it checked out. He asked me to stay until 3pm so I did. I got to the ER at 3:30pm and got lost in the system and didn't get home til 9:45pm. I had sprained my wrist. Well its been a week and the nurse said to wear it for 2 or 3 days. Well, I wore it for the week because it had still been bothering me. Well, I must have reinjuried it at work today during a training session. This morning we had to train using the floor buffer and as I went to go use it the first time I had my brace on and it was bothering me so I took it off and tried again. I was soooo stupid because now it hurts even worse and its even a pain to type now. I guess I should go see my doc but can't afford the co-pay which is why I ended up at the ER anyway. That was the second time for that this month. The week before I had to go because I had a huge migraine and couldn't see for hours and hours which landed me 2 days off of work. I have been off of the enbrel since december. Doc told me it wasn't doing me any good but wants me to do a wash because I've been on it for almost 3 years. My boyfriend who I thought was sympathitic to my needs decides not to cook dinner tonight or walk his damn dog which probably needs to go out and I'm not doing it again. I did it this afternoon when I got home and almost got pulled across the damn sidewalk while it wants to chase damn birds. Anyway, I hope everyone is having a pain free day. > > in typhoon maryland > > > > >

Guest guest
well, now to add to my vent from the other day. I went into work this morning and had been running a contract now for several months. I was pulled off the contract because some of my individuals were not doing the job right. I go around and make sure things are taken care of before living each morning. Well, according to them I'm not. So not only am I off of the contract, I have to work evening shift. I have 2 small children so this is not really possible. My dd is 6 and my son will be 4 soon. I'm needed home in the evenings. On top of that they want me to work weekends which then I can't enjoy what I like to do which is tractor pulls. I'm currently looking for another job. Wish me luck Re: [ ] Re: venting Date: Thursday, 23 April, 2009, 6:07 PM LMAO? Stan, That is too funny, I need to remember that for when my hubby doesn't do his one chore of taking out the trash. Guest guest
Sounds to me that they are trying to run you off. If you quit it leaves them with no claim from you for discrimination. You need to find a union rep or equal to help be a voice for you. When I was in the early stages of RA, I was promised that no matter how bad it gets, as long as I could answer the phone, I was safe and would keep my job. About 10 months later, I was 'laid off' because the job was being phased out. A few weeks later, one of the men that worked for me was working in my job. It was too late by then. Guest guest
I have decided to look for another agency to work for. One of the things about finding another job I don't have to devalge my disability. I will be at my current agency for a year on the 1st of may. The have been jacking me around since I got there last year changing my contracts and putting me on night shift once before. I told them the last time they did it that I needed to be on days because of my children and I could not work weekends and they agreed to put me back on days when the last contract ended and said they would keep me on days. Well, they are going back on what they have said. Anyway, I found another position in another company doing the same as what I do now. So lets hope that I can get it and get away from the evil from this agency. Re: [ ] Re: venting OT > > But I'm crying on the inside! Well, actually it's more like pouting.
