Guest guest
Sorry about that! I am writing with 1 hand. I have been gone, a long time. First broke my leg. Am taking bone stimulation therapy, it is microwaves that irritate the broken bone to heal. Insurance paid for that, and low income substity paid for the 500 co-pay. Then I thought I broke my thumb, but it turned out to be cellulitis and/or infectious arthritis! (long story) my had was swelled to 4 " thick and had red streaks almost to the elbow in 2 days! 1 week in hospital, and 3 weeks home iv therapy. Medicare would not cover home iv therapy, but would cover hospital therapy, so everyother day I drove to the hospital to have my medication changed, and the pic line cleaned, etc. Also Vanco levels and blood tests. So far, THIS is a covered procedure. I am off the meds, they were becoming toxic, so I get a vacation. and see the infectious Dr. next tuesday. Hurts like a bummer, and now I have to talk my hubby thru hep locking the pic line. Life sure isn't boring. Carol @>~~~~ **************Check all of your email inboxes from anywhere on the web. Guest guest
Carol, Is the visit very expensive? I have tried to find this info out for awhile now, and my doc office never tells me. I want to know, before I go off the humira, and then find out I can't pay for my infusion visits, know what I mean? Take care, Tawny > > Hi Tawney, > > I have > > Carol > > @>~~~~

I'm on Medicare now, but I also have supplemental insurance. My RA doc told me that Medicare alone wouldn't pay for Remicade. I didn't check it out myself though. dd **************Access 350+ FREE radio stations anytime from anywhere on the web. Get the Radio Toolbar!
