Sometimes I don't see one all summer. The first one on Monday was just a baby snake. The second one was a 3-foot black snake. I'm glad we don't have rattlesnakes; however, we do have poisonous moccosins. Guest guest Posted April 23, 2009 Report Share Posted April 23, 2009 Oh my, Betty!! Rattlesnake? Whisper? Running? Good grief, woman, no wonder you are hurting!! Hope you feel better soon and I'm soooo relieved that in spite of your attempt at running, the snake seemed to be more afraid of you and no one got bit. On a lighter note, I remember when I was just about ready for delivery with my oldest child and my ex (who wasn't ex at the time) was goofing around like we always did in High School, challenged me to a race across the street to our house. Three (maybe four) running paces and I was grabbing my belly wondering " what was I thinking " ! Poor baby probably thought we were in the middle of an earthquake!! The whole point of that was that it is easy to forget we can't do something when certain situations present themselves. As for Barbara, I don't have her number, otherwise I would call her son and check in on her. I imagine she's still in the hospital - I'm praying all went well and no news is good news. Knowing Barbara, though, she'll be back online as soon as the anesthesia wears off and someone brings her laptop to her. Take care of yourself, Betty. I hope you feel better soon. How ever i have talk to barbara an she has had fall in her house while walking. she bumped her head and broke her leg. we try to talk every month how ever we have not spoken to each other this month. she still could be in hospital. the last time i spoke to her was 2 weeks ago while i was in rehab.
