Guest guest
Well, at least he understands it a LITTLE better, anyway. Maybe he will be more sympathetic in the future. Guest guest
That reminds me of the Family Guy episode where " knows " what handicap wheelchair bound people go through after suffering through a wheelchair for 45 minutes! Guest guest
Hi Jane - what an rude, inconsiderate jerk-idiot he is! Laughing at you when you are struggling. And then missing work for two days because of a " backache " ? Unless he's herniated something, he still doesn't have a clue as to what we go through on a daily basis. But, if this " backache " allows him to be more compassionate where you are concerned and less of a jerk, then maybe his lesson will be learned. It kills me how plain ole' mean some people can be at the expense of others. Hope you have a good, pain-free day, Jane.....Doreen OK, so my boss, who has no health problems and has even laughed when I have trouble standing up from my desk, walking, etc. has a backache this week. So far he's missed two days of work. But here's the funny part. Day before yesterday, as he was whining, begging for sympathy, etc, he actually said, " now I know what you go through every day. " Right.
Guest guest
A friend called me when he sprained his ankle and had to stay off it for a " whole " day. He said he thought about me and felt like he knew what I was going through. I told him to take a hammer to the other ankle and don't sleep for 48 hours to " simulate " fatque and he'll be a lot closer to how I feel. Then call your insurance company and let them know your injuries are self inflicted so you can argu with them about whether or not they will cover it, Stan Seattle, Cloudy
