**Hi ,

I'm glad your enjoying the ice cream :) As for the vanilla, I think you might

have me confused with the other Sara because I actually don't use vanilla

because it is quite pricey. Hopefully, I'll have a chance to post my little

recipes after I am done with school finals!

I have not made daikon radish fries, do you bake them? I eat a lot of daikon

radish, because my children and I love it so much, but have not cooked it.

I make fries from celery root that are amazing! I cut into fry shape, coat in

oil, sprinkle with sea salt and bake. I also make 'cottage fries' with it just

buy cubing it and cooking stovetop (for a long time covered) in oil and

seasoning. I serve with some homemade ketchup- delicious!

Hi,

I actually don't bake them but simply fry them in coconut oil and spices, so

they aren't crispy fries but kind of soft, which is how I have always like my

fries anyways. Also, you should definitely try adding daikon radish into soups

because they have a similar texture to potatoes and taste great. I planning to

try and made a " potato salad " with them when I get the chance.

,

thanks for the daikon tips- they sound great (I also like my fries soft, with

some homemade ketchup)!

I have a recipe for a mock potato salad that uses steamed cauliflower and hard

boiled eggs- I have not tried it yet, but will share the recipe if it turns out!

Let me know if the daikon works well!

ON a sad note, I've been buying dried daikon- it is soooo good. I finally

looked at the nutritional info only to realize that it contains quite a bit of

sugar! yikes! how frustrating!
