Guest guest
mary beth, and jane, i also take 400mg of plaquenil a day, it has helped the swelling in one of my hands, but the other hand ..... i don't think can be helped. disfigured permantly i'm afraid. but, i am 67 yrs old, have had this a long time, just waited too long to get something done. nothing i have tried yet has helped my knee or my back. i still have to get them x rayed to see just what is going on with them. give the plaquenil time, it might start to help you. i really do hope so. hugs to all. Guest guest
I'm allergic to sulfa based drugs also I hope that doesn't mean I'll have a reaction to the plaquinel - I think I'll call a pharmacist and ask if there is a connection.
