I have a Invacare Lynx LX-3. If I had to do it over again, I'd worry about

turning radius for a house. I don't use mine in the house, just in place of

long distance walking, BUT I did practice with it in the house when I first

got it. I *think* mine is a 42 degree turning radius??? but it's really

hard to make tight corners to get in and out of rooms. I'd have to back it

up several times to get me positioned just right to go through tight corners

into rooms.

My scooter is a 4-wheeler and 54 " long, more than can easily be used inside.

I originally got it to use outside since we were doing a lot of traveling to

motorcycle functions and car shows and my RA wouldn't allow me to walk much

at all. Since our motorcycle was Candy Apple Red, the scooter matched almost

perfectly. We had murals and pinstriping on it to match the bike, so we used

it as part of the display at the shows.

I had trouble turning around in stores, so had to modify the front end so I

could turn enough to make those turns. I also took off the " training " wheels

so I wouldn't get so hung up all the time, and added a platform that Betty

could stand on and not have to walk that much. It's still good as new, so

that speaks well of Pride's products, tough.
