starting the diet(lots of ??)

Hello all,

Well we finally got the date to go into the hospital to start the diet, JC and I

will be going in on Monday morning. I have not been able to talk to the

nutritionalist, she is gone for vacation till Monday morning,But I was told they

don't use the KetoCal because it is too expensive, but our supplier says he can

get it under the medicaide. Should I push to use that, or go with the mixing

stuff?

They also told me his B12 and Folic Acid are low, his liver function tests are

better, his tegetol level was 8.7 and his Depakane level was 77.

The meds he takes now are

tegretol 8 ml 3 xs a day,

Depakane 6 ml 3xs a day

Zantac 1.8 ml 3xs a day

atavan .5 2xs aday

robinul 1 mg 3 xs a day

flagyl 2.5 ml 3 xs a day

baclofen .5 3xs aday

Zyrtec 5 ml once a day.

JC is 4 yrs old weight 30 lbs and is 31 inches long

his tests show 24 hr siezure activity, and he still has between 10 to 40

siezures a day, several different kinds.

and is 100% tube fed, post fundo and still wretching, puking, gagging and

spitting up.
