(I wonder what happened to him?) So just on a small hunch, I asked on the local Freecycle group if anyone had one I could use, even for parts if nothing else. A coupld of weeks went by with no replies. Then, a post offering one to the group. Needless to say, I emailed her immediately to try to claim it. That afternoon, we had appointments at the hospital, and went to pick it up afterwards. It's a Pro-Form GL50, an electronic controlled $400 unit that needed a little TLC. I tapped new holes for the display mast and put in new bolts, and then replaced the dead batteries that were the real reason they wanted to give it away.
