You can always stop Enbrel if something happens, . Almost always,

the symptoms resolve after discontinuation. And Enbrel won't be in

your system as long as Humira or Remicade.

Do you know how long Remicade stays in your system after you discontinue it.

Thank you,

It's been great stuff for mr, I wouldn't give it up for anything. And if it

helps, my sis got lymphoma at the same age that I got ra. I think it's the

genes, not the drug. I even stayed on it while pg last yr and the baby is fab.

That is why I chose the Enbrel over the others. I'm pretty sure I will be

Kate,

Even though it wasn't clear from what we said, and I are talking

about people with lupus or a lupus component to their disease who are

considering trying the TNF blockers.

There are individual variations, but, by 5 half-lives, 96.875% of any

given dose of any drug will be eliminated (theoretically).

I've seen various elimination half-lives stated for Remicade

(infliximab) - from 8 to 15 days.

At a half-life of 8 days, about 97% of a given dose would be

eliminated by day 40. At a half-life of 15 days, about 97% of a given

dose would be eliminated by day 75.
