Guest guest
if you do test positive, at least you have the prescription to prove you are on prescribed medicine. Do you have to submit any and all medications prescribed to you to your CM? If not maybe at least give the CM a heads up so it can be noted if the test does turn up not in your favor. Has anyone else checked out that website listed in the ADVISORY - holy cow there's ten pages of household and personal care things - if these actually can affect the results of a test for etg, we'd all have to live in a bubble to be sure we test negative. Guest guest
, Macrobid is renally metabolized and excreted and in theory should not interfere with your testing. I stress, 'in theory' because, as we all know, this horrible test can bite you when you least expect it. Be sure to let all powers that be that you have an Rx for the med and what your diagnosis is. Everything we do has to be dotted and crossed just to survive. Amy, I agree about living in a bubble. I was fearful about cleaning my house yesterday, concerned about the fumes I may be inhaling. I second guess everything I eat and drink and am constantly scared when the phone rings...did yesterday's test come up positive??!! I hate living this way. Recovery is supposed to make us 'happy, joyous, and free'. Right now I feel sad, angry, and unjustly imprisoned. Thank-you to all in this group that keep hope alive. You are my heros. Dan and , try to keep the faith, great things are happening here. Thanks, > > if you do test positive, at least you have the prescription to prove > you are on prescribed medicine. Guest guest
Since you'll be calling tomorrow, why don't you just wait to see what the doctor says? You can't take Methotrexate with some antibiotics, so you wouldn't want to cause yourself any more problems. Delaying it by a day is no big deal.
