OOOOOOOh, I WANNA GO TOO. I visited 's

neck of the woods several years ago (stayed in

Carlsbad) for an extended stay (wish I'd known

then!!!!!!!!!) and grew extremely fond of

the area. It's too late for me to hope for lungs

and recuperation before San ...unless

I'm already there. Once I'm out of the hospital,

I'd make you all come see me. :-) At any rate,

I'd dearly love to make it to California and share

that experience. I pray it could happen. Next

Saturday marks one year of waiting in Dallas,

one month in San .

Judy,

I hope one of the sites Leanne provided will prove

fruitful for you. I want you to have a group of people

who have walked your walk and " get it " .

I wish I could be of help regarding your tremors. I

know of another person here in Ft. Worth who had a

transplant 6 months ago, who still has bad tremors.

But I belong to a support group that consists mostly

of people who have had transplants (about 6 people)

and it isn't a significant problem for any of them that

I know of.

The hair loss can be distressing, beginning with

Prednisone, which is listed as both causing loss of

hair as well as unwanted hair growth. My hair is

definitely thinner than it used to be, and a pain in

the rear to fix, so I've resorted mostly to a wig. That

would be my suggestion - I love it. It would free up

some time and energy for you that maybe could be

spent doing something else.

I'm glad to read your post - sorry that you're still

having some problems but glad that overall you're

doing well, and that you're getting some overdue

sleep. It's great that you're doing the rehab, which

surely will help with the big picture. Way to go.

How's Maile doing now?

If you asked anything before that I failed to respond

to, I apologize. I definitely haven't lost interest or

concern for you. Please keep us posted. I care a lot.

Wally,

Are you feeling better? Hope you have some good

people to delegate things to when you're having a

slow day, with the event coming up. (I forget the

date of the big bash.)

P,

You've been through so much. I'm truly sorry about

the PAH, but I'm no expert in that area. I hope

something can be done to control that right away.

Babs,

I hope what you have is an old-fashioned cold,

although you still need to do just what you're doing -

that is, TLC for Babs.

,

I miss your posts and the descriptions of your latest

activities. Has Ahli started school yet - can't remember.

Hope everything in Tassie is near perfect for our GIO.

Sher,

I found House of Eliott on Netflix, so I'll order it sometime.

It's fun to see something I've never even heard of. I

hope the oxygen decisions are narrowing and the

routines getting simpler for you. I'll be surprised if you

don't need the 02 at night, given how much it has

helped you during the day.

Peggy,

I too hope that you will stabilize SOON!!!!! Being on

the slippery slide of the slope is so scary, not to

mention uncomfortable. It's life-altering in a way

we could do without! I can hardly believe that your

gathering is less than a week away. I will be sending

huuuuuuge virtual hugs to the three of you. Good

luck with the eye drops recommends.

Bonnie,

Please keep us posted from time to time so we won't

be forced to worry. I'm glad you're able to be

relatively active - that's a good thing. Take care.

Bruce,

I have to agree with Peggy that you still need to let

loose with an ear-to-ear, tooth-revealing grin in a

photo to all of us. (I obviously don't mind flashing the

goofiest of grins for all the world to see.) Apparently I

wasn't enough to inspire one in you, but I'm just sure

there's one in there somewhere!! Maybe can

help us out here and catch you in a spontaneous

moment. I know what the genuine article looks like,

but other inquiring minds deserve to know! Thanks for

posting the photo of us, though. It's a fun memento

of a super afternoon, and it's clear we were enjoying

ourselves.

Joyce,

I'm praying that Lucian finds out that one of his chief

talents in life is liter meter reading. We just cannot

have that other stuff happening any more - ever.

Do the grands know when to disappear instead of

wearing you out? That could be a fine line. I hope

they're around just enough to lift your spirits.

Hugs and blessings,

Gwynne IPF 7/04 listed for transplant 3/08 & 2/07 Texas
