Guest guest
Things here are ok, work has slowed down a bit so Im not as pooped this week...so far..lol I didnt realize you sis was a truck driver..me and mac ran a trucking company here in sa..we had reefers and had work from Texas to mostly the southeast, I use to love the products that were damaged, lot of good food we got to bring home cause the company would have to pay for it anyway...Mac and I never went on the road, we ran the office & keept the trucks mantained which was a constant headache...and we also had to listen to some cry baby truck drivers..heehee...But I enjoyed it, I would rather work around a bunch of men anyday, some of these women I work with now are such drama queens..lol...We had one lady driver, she was really cool though.. Glad things are calm for the moment..Hang in there girly..Love ya, Pat ----- Hey Patty Things are ok. Nice and Mellow. I feel like we are in the calm before the storm. Guest guest
Thanks dd, Seems a lot of those drugs can cause respitory issues. My friend had trouble with MTX and respritory. Can't win I guess. > > I was taking Arava with MTX. It may have caused some acne, but we're not > sure. Guest guest
DD & - From what I've learned, Rheumatoid Arthritis itself can cause respiratory issues, so I don't really know if the meds make it worse or if it was just there to begin with. I have had a horrible time with shortness of breath for a very long time. I don't think it is any worse since I've started the RA meds, though. Just my personal experiences......Doreen > > Thanks dd, > > Seems a lot of those drugs can cause respitory issues. My friend > had trouble with MTX and respritory. Guest guest
Hi DD, I am curious to know what this pre-treatment you are talking about is. Thirty minutes before each Remicade treatment, I take Tylenol & Benadryl to prevent an allergic reaction and I have never had the symptoms that you describe. If it is Benadryl & Tylenol that you are pre treating with, perhaps you are allergic to one of them. If the Remicade/saline mixture is too cold, I can sometimes get a little red but I barely notice it. cea type symptoms are also a sign of Raynaud's syndrome, which is a common secondary illness. Take care, ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I just talked to my rheumatologist. After my February infusion, the next day my face and neck were all red. I called him and he said I needed pre-treatment. So in April, they did the pre-treatment and it didn't do a thing, except make me really sleepy all day. I woke up the next morning with a red face and neck. It looks like rosacea, like if I had been drinking red wine. I did take a picture and will take it to the next appointment. He said that Remicade could not cause cea. But if drinking wine can cause it, it seems like a drug could cause it as well. So we're not going to do the pre-treatment in June. Then I see him in August and will bring the picture. There is no itch or swelling -- except one cheek gets a little raised. And it doesn't start until the next morning. Any input? dd
