Guest guest
Betty and I have been having trouble walking and doing, so we're looking into something provided by Medicare. We've talked to the Scooter Store about the Pride line, but are wondering about other brands. I assume all of them are basically the same, but the Hoveround seems to stress moving in crowded areas, like in our whole house! What advice do we have available to help make the decision? In our efforts to improve ourselves, we got a recumbent bike to help us, and added to the Gazelle, we should be better walkers maybe. Guest guest
Hi I know you didn't ask me but I have both. A regular wheelchair and a scooter. I use my scooter when I am going someplace with a lot of walking. I keep my wheelchair here at home. I guess what I am trying to say is make a list of pros & cons for both of them and then decide. Guest guest
, I appreciate your reply, but I might have been more clear. I already have a Pride Celebrity XL scooter, a big one that will go anywhere, and a Pride Jazzy chair. I'm sure there are other makers out there, so I was fishing for tales of other brands and/or experiences. Our plans are to try to get newer ones from the Medicare program that we both qualify for, so we need to make an informed decision.
