Thanks so much. I even forget that the doctor need to scrape the area

affected. I got my foot scraped one time and it turned out I had a very bad

foot fungus.

Now I am so afraid for my feet to stand in anything wet. It was caused from me

slipping on my wet tennis shoes and running out side during rainy season. Oh

yes that was a while back. Me running somewhere. And our town having a rainy

season. ( we presently are in a drought now).

And you are so right Contact- touched something, derma- skin, itis- infection,

contact dermatitis this is a break down of the word.

Nothing specific - that's it. And they usually treat it with a

considered a dermatologist? They could possibly scrape the area and

send it off for testing so they will know exactly what you're dealing

with since the other doctor apparently has no idea what it is or why

She actually did scrape it and test it It wasn't a fungus, is probably why

she gave me the generic diagnosis (which I was aware of) It's not a problem

now, I'm getting the itching, but not the bumps I don't think it's skin anymore
