Clora,

When I was going through my divorce, (my ex walked out in Oct) my

daughter realized on Dec. 26 that everyone forgot me for Christmas.

She and my mother bought me a gift later. I was gracious and said

thank you but they never knew that I have not wanted a present since

then.

I was just so shocked that when we went to my parents with all of

the family and during gift exchange no one noticed that I didn't get

one.

I know that it was not intentional, but it still effects me to this

day. When my children ask what I want, I always tell them a card,

but please write something heartfelt in it. They go ahead and buy

something that I really didn't want. I guess they don't believe me!

I say thank you and always act happy. Got to love them!
