I just spoke with a wonderfully pleasant lady at the American Cancer

Society, asking about the exact date for the Smoke Out this year. She

said it is always the 3rd Thursday in November and happens to fall on

November 20th this year.

So, if I remember correctly, Clora - this can be your birthday present

to yourself this year!!

She also asked that I pass on their phone number - 1-800-ACS-2345

(Option 3) in case any of you have any questions or need for services.

I hated my birthday every year because it was the smoke out. Well hate is a

strong word.  I get some cool presents. 

 

I forgot that my birthday was the smoke out.  Obvious reasons haaaaaaa. Now that

I am quitting I can feel better about my self.

 

Woo hoo Doreen you're a quitter.  I had to check to see if mimi was doreen or

shirly thats where I get confused with you two and you two are very alike also.

 

Indeed this will be my present to me.  thanks Doreen.
