Guest guest
I understand that by changing to your blood type needs and being strict about avoids, will over time clean out your colon and clean your liver too. I've never had any trouble with candida, so others will need to advise you on that. " Have you looked at any liver/gallbladder cleanse sites? They usually suggest a bowel/colon cleanse first. Some idiot on the curezone website (www.curezone.org I think it is), a " MercuryGoddess " had her husband do a liver/gallbladder flush and he got all screwed up and felt terrible (LOL!) because he/they neglected to do a proper bowel/colon (i.e. intestinal) cleanse. Yeah, lots of fun stories on that site, they've got a special section for us wackos on this really weird diet based on human genetics, too... so any place that can be accomodating to us has got to be good. Wasn't grapeseed extract supposed to be good for candida? And what about oil of oregano? Do you food combine? aka trophology Either way, using some bentonite clay and slippery elm would probably help a lot. Just a few months ago I had some bloating in my 'stines and I used the bentonite clay (properly, mind you) to glop up and push through whatever was in there, the slippery elm is a bulker and a healer/lubricator that is officially HB for us. I've found that after using the bentonite a few months ago that my mood increased noticeably for the first week or so of use. I think that goes to bowel toxicity=toxic load=liver function=emotional state. Bentonite clay also has an electrical charge that pulls little bad guys to them and, with that " chelation " , or maybe in this group I should say " agglutination " (without the lectin angle), it helps to decrease the pathogenic microbes that may be holding you back. Guest guest
Hi SW Even though everyone is different, I found that I didn't have to take a lot of herbs/supplements to cleanse. Even though I tried antiparasitics, I found that the bugs/worms came out from just the cleansing....liver flushing and colon cleansing. Get rid of their food and they say adios. My story ia listed in the files section of this group..... http://f1.grp.fs.com/v1/4F1vQ4NGEwxxw71uc9tdu4v8BCNECHzLahMt2Xoe6V9Ag-lscz_\ qgMyoyHs5BwrLT9znrLD3iTu8xAOH49ZFeEnXO9Z1R8sQnA/Success/Rick%20V As far as cleaning your small intestine, you can use a product like colosan, homozon or oxypowder. They all work basically the same way. Check into a colema board for colon cleansing. The initial expense is well worth it. There's lots of cleansing information here.... www.curezone.com Rick > > Hi, > I have never done a cleanse and would like to try one. I have read > some posts on different suggestions. Guest guest
I did the Natures Sunchine CLean Start program and was happy with that. Its just drink you take several times per day, did not taste good, but no biggie Try that one is you don't want pills. -- Cleanse Hi, I have never done a cleanse and would like to try one. I have read some posts on different suggestions. I have used Nature's Sunshine products however quite often with lots of success and trust their business. I am thinking of doing their cleanse, but its so many pills. On the other hand it does have a lot of anti-parisite herbs in their and feel it would definately wipe out parisite as well as cleanse the body. I am just worried about over doing it. Its a huge number of pills per day. This seems to be one of the more thourough cleanses. This is the cleanse: http://www.naturessunshine.com/products/catalog/ProductLabel.asp? stockNum=3220 Anybody have any comments? A lot of the herbs are simple, like alfalfa and asparagus and parsley.. I do know though that Black Walnut and some other in that list you have to be careful of. I'd just rather not buy a normal cleanse and then do a parasite cleanse, when my body is so down right now in general, I want to get better. :/ Suggestions? Guest guest
Hi Kari, I believe some time ago there was one or two folks that tried a more " unconventional " approach to treating their PA. I think one did do a cleanse. I'm foggy on the details, but what I recall is that may have initially helped a bit, but was not as effective as the usual drugs. If that person is still reading, please respond and let us know your status. My thoughts: give it a try. It's unlikely to cause harm and could help. And if it doesn't accomplish what you want, you can always go back and use conventional drugs. I had thought about it, but I know I lack the self discipline to have a very restricted diet. Guest guest
6th day of the cleanse! Well, I'm 6 days into it, and I feel pretty darn good. I've lost 7 lbs so that is 7 lbs less that my joints are trying to support. My skin feels good and looks good but I have to give credit to the Humira! I hate getting the shots, but I love what it has done for the psoriasis. I had 35% of my body covered and now its gone! I'm still battling with the PA, but I will continue to be positive. One Day At A Time! 15 days left on the cleanse, and getting these toxins out of my body from the MTX and Humira, at least for now. I'll keep you up to date! Thanks for the support! Guest guest
Day 17, I've lost 10.2 lbs. have a bit more energy. I've also been doing the ionic foot soaks and the color that always shows is yellow/orange which means joint toxicity, I also have black flecks which means my body is getting rid of heavy metals, more than likely from the gold injections in the past and the Humira and and MTX now. This cleanse and foot soaking has been a great thing for me. I'm still in significant pain, but I am praying and learning how to eat healthier. Sending positive thoughts to all! Guest guest
Excellent that you are doing the parasite cleanse. Keep us posted on how it goes. Converting grams to teaspoons is tricky as grams measure weight and teaspoons measure volume. That said, there are some estimate conversions that can work. I found an online calculator that converted 1 gr of ground cloves to ..45 tsp. I would imagine it's similar for wormwood but you may want to research it a bit more. Here's the conversion site: http://www.gourmetsleuth.com/cooking-conversions/cooking-conversions-calculator.\ aspx Hope this helps! Guest guest
Each capsule holds about 1/4 tsp and 1/2 gram. And 28.353 grams = 1 ounce. The weights should be on the bottles. Hope this helps. Leo ---------------------------------------- > > I have known about Hulda for years but wa thinking of trying her parasite cleanse. I noticed her measurements are in grams. Guest guest
Hi everybody, I had a " cleanse " yesterday in preparation for my colonoscopy today. Last time I had to drink a couple of gallons of a nasty liquid called Go Lightly. This time I had to mix a bottle of Miralax powder with a 64 oz. bottle of Gatorade. I used the yellow citrus flavor. It didn't taste bad at all, quite an improvement. But it was not diabetic friendly at all. My BG went a lot higher than I ever like it to get. The procedure today was not till one o'clock. When I get up and don't eat, my BG goes up, because the liver puts out glucose to help out the body, thinking it's in distress. That's what happened; it was even higher than it was yesterday with the Gatorade. But I survived the ordeal, and there was just one polyp found and removed. It was found that I have very poor anal sphincter tone, which explains the anal leakage that I am plagued with. If the proponents of " cleanses " are right, all the toxins should be cleared from my body, and I should be disease free. LOL. Anyway, I'm glad it's over. Guest guest
Ugh, I am not sure what is worse about a colonoscopy: that god awful gray gallon of liquid you have to drink, the terrible " runs " afterwards or the actual procedure. I got versed during the procedure, which is conscientious sedation, you are not supposed to know what hit you, but I " woke up " , and felt the pain, when the GI doc went too high up into my colon. She couldnt remove one polyp that was way up into my colon and said she would have to take me to the OR to do it. I havent been back since, because it was so unpleasant. Guest guest
The Gatorade mixture that I had this time didn't taste bad at all. Last time I had that awful Go Lightly. I was completely asleep during the procedure. It just seemed like a minute or two had passed when I woke up. I was given Fentanyl and Midazolam. Last time I had Versed, and I was completely asleep then, too. That's awful that you woke up during your procedure. Surely they put you under more deeply in the OR.
