I don't know of any geographic region where RA doesn't exist, but

there are geographic differences in incidence. I'll post some studies

or information separately.

The only risk factors for RA which are supported by much evidence are:

genes, being female, and smoking.

According to J. Fox it's somewhere in the Himalaias.

I couldn't find a recent table of incidence/prevalence by country, but

I will post one if I find one in the future.
