Guest guest
Sue and group; Thanks Sue, I will do that. I appreciate the information. I quit smoking just in time, I seem to have a chest cold. I won't be able to take my humira injection. I was told if I think I was sick or had an infection not to take the injection. When I breathe I am very wheezy. It started a few days ago. It felt like my asthma got bad. It seems like quitting smoking made it worse but that is so silly. I been feeling sick for about a week now. It got worse when I quit smoking. Its my second day with out a cigarette. I am having a hard time breathing. I may go to the ER today or my primary doctor. Take care and God bless. gentle hugs Clora ********************************************************** > Just call your doctor's office and tell them to mail you the results. > They are obligated to do so. Guest guest
I have a head cold, with what I think is sinus congestion. I also have diarrhea. I am delaying my Enbrel injection, so I hope old Arthur behaves himself until I can resume injecting. Sue On Sunday, December 7, 2008, at 07:21 AM, CLORA wrote: > > Thanks Sue, I will do that. Guest guest
Sue, Dennis and group; I see now I have a bad cold. I feel like it's a respitory infection. If I lie down my head is all blocked up. I know I can't take my humira injection. I will call my doctor in the morning for an appointment. My doctor had my c-pap turned down to low, my sleep apnea has returend. I am now tired all day. I fell asleep in the chair in the front room. He turned the c-pap down because of the migrains. I still have the migraines but their not as intense. Maybe he can turn the c-pap up half as far as it was before. It's my second day without a cigarette. I think I will have a cigraette and than remember I quit. What an aweful feeling. We all was warned growing up it was an addiction or a habit. I quit for 3 years and I remember wanting a cigarette now and than but it is definately not as bad as when one first quits. I can hardly breathe. I can hear every breath I take. If I wanted a cigrarette and I do, I can't smoke it anyway, I can't breathe very good. I take spriva and 2 other inhalers and they are not helping very good. I am so sorry that I did this to myself. At least I forget about smoking some now. The nicotene patches are helping a lot. Thanks for the info. I quit before and I can do it now. I know about the Arthur brothers. My dad use to talk about them when I was a kid. Every ache or pain they got was from the Arthur family. Arthrits, Rheumatiod, Arthurporis and Osteo arthritis. Its a big family of aches and pains. The Arthur family will never behave unless we distract them from our attention lol. I felt a change the second day I took my first INjection. I hope Arthur behaves for me too, While I am off the Humira injections. gentle hugs Clora *********************************************************** > I have a head cold, with what I think is sinus congestion. Guest guest
Clora, Being sick is an excellent motivation to quit smoking. Actually, I quit when I had a bad case of the flu. I just stayed in bed all weekend, and after that, I just took it one day at a time. I haven't had the flu since I quit. I know it's hard, but you can do it! We are all pulling for you! Guest guest
Sue and group;p Yes being sick makes it easier to quit. It's day 2 its been long and sick. I appreciate everyone pulling for us. I been keeping my mind occupied so I don't think about a cigarette. The hardest time is after I eat. I crave it before I even finish my meals. My brain is soooooooo mad at me right now. I seen the commercials about the craving will decrease slowly and eventually get use to no more nicatene. I am so sick, I hate not being able to take my injections. I think its a sinus infection too. My sides hurt from coughing so much. They been complaining about the cold outside smoking. I told everyone quit or freeze. I can't quit watching anyone smoking, It's just to hard to watch them. Thanks everyone, I appreciate your kindness during this hard time for me. God bless and take care gentle hugs Clora ************************************************************* > Clora, Being sick is an excellent motivation to quit smoking.
