Hi Cheryl and Group,

I use to take MTX and experienced hair loss shortly after starting that

medication. Talk to your RA doc. He could see about putting you on something

else that works.

Hi everyone

Well, since starting the calcium folinate, I had noticed a significant

reduction in the amount of hair loss I was experiencing. I take mtx,

arava, plaquenil, folate and calcium folinate. All of a sudden, it has

started again and I am losing massive amounts of hair. I am seeing the

rheumy tomorrow and think he is going to start me on humira or enbrel

but I wanted to check and see if anyone has experienced hair loss on

the biologics. It's bad enough having this disease without having to

be bald too - hehehe.
