When I was on the pill form I would be ok till a day or 2 after I took them. I am dizzy and have a headache all of a sudden. Is this normal for the injectable kind? Last time my stomach had problems not dizziness. This sucks! Can I expect to have this every time, and how long does it last? Thanks for any info you can give. Guest guest Posted December 8, 2008 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 hi heidi i tired mtx 1st time in 06 and it didn't help at all and had no side effects. that was in 06.new rheumy says it wasn't a high enough dose so i tried it again 2 mos ago and at 10 mg injected - same dose helped RA in 3 wks but made me so sick. weird how our bodies react differently over time. hope it goes away and you feel better soon. monqiue I started back on MTX today but I am taking the injection. I always do the MTX on Tuesday's - with the pills, I could be sure that Wed, Thur, Fri would be my roughest days. With the injections, it is Tues, Wed, Thur. I don't get dizzy or have a headache, but I do get more sleepy feeling and a little out of sorts. But, by the weekend I am much better - which works for us because Hubby works all week long anyway.
