I'm starting to feel a bit better but the loratab liquid burns my throat so not

taking it as often as I should. I have demarol pills here that some how I'm

managing to swallow but just aren't lasting as long as I hoped. Its to bad I

can't take my percocets but they are wayyy to big to try to choke down right

now. Not only would they kill the pain but maybe I would be able to sleep more

then an hour at a time without waking.

what is really funny is today she stopped by to check on me and my exhusband and

his wife were here. They got talking about babies and disabilities and she

stuck her foot in her mouth. She said that if she would have gotten pregnant

and found out that the baby had a disability of any type she would abort it. My

opinion the child didn't ask to be born whether it has a disability or not.

Oh, duh! (slapping myself on the forehead) I'm sorry I forgot that. I

still think your mother should keep her opinions to herself. And if

she said it loud enough for you to hear, you KNOW that could

very well have heard her, too. Hope you're feeling better today. Take

care. Keep us posted.............Doreen :) (Just call me Duh-Dodo)*lol*

Aww, . I am so sorry. Sounds like it may be time to " reign in "

your mother somewhat - if you can. That comment of hers was way out of

line.

I'm sorry to hear the Lortab liquid is burning your throat so. maybe

you could call the doctor and see if there is anything else you could

take - or something you could do before you use the Lortab. Best of

luck to you.............Doreen :(

Re: OT: surgery

I am thrilled to hear the good news. My 9 year old grand daughter is fighting

brain cancer and believe me, I know what a battle it is.

By the way, cochlear implant surgery is not off topic. ;)

Well, it certainly should be. Who wants to read the gory details? 'Next

thing you know we'll be sending those sickening pictures. ;<)

BTW, OT could as easily mean " on topic " <g>.
