Guest guest
Hi Heidibug, Thanks for your response. Not sure if my pcp will renew my Ambien since she said it's too addicting. May try though. Debbie L > > > Today I told my rheum that the amitriptyline no longer works for me. He > > said he didn't have any med replacement. Guest guest
Debbie, Have you ever tried Seroquel? I have been taking it since June and have never had a better sleep than while on this medication..... It is an anti-psychotic/mood stabilizer but many physicians use it off label for sleep. If it's any consolation, I am haven't felt like ripping anyone's head off lately! LOL w] ~]ss Kami ss] ~]w [ ] saw my rheum again today .Today I told my rheum that the amitriptyline no longer works for me. He said he didn't have any med replacement. When I told him my pcp gave me Ambien CR for limited time, he said to use that instead for my sleep problem. Once I am done with the Ambien CR though he said try to sleep without it. Asked him for an increase in my Neurontin then. He said no, two 300mg Neurontin at night is enough. Guess I will have to start taking me melatonin and benadry at night. Guest guest
Debby and group; I am having a hard time sleeping too. Only thing I can get is 1 mg of xanax a night. It don't help. I guess I will just be awake. I know what you mean. Guest guest
Wow, Debbie - I take two 600mg of Neurontin every night and every morning. I wonder why your Rheumy felt that 300mg was " enough " ? I hope you find something that will work so you can get some sleep. Maybe its time for a new Rheumy?......Doreen > > Today I told my rheum that the amitriptyline no longer works for me. > He said he didn't have any med replacement. Guest guest
thanks for your reply Doreen. I said I take a total of 600mg each night but my rheum thinks that's enough for sleep. Have been seeing my current rheum since 1997 so maybe do need a new one. Guest guest
Thanks Kami and Clora for your replys. If Seroquel is approved for fibromyalgia patients then maybe my rheum would give it to me. Debbie L > > Debbie, > > Have you ever tried Seroquel?
