Guest guest
Sorry, it's soy too. I didn't know myself until I started looking around the www.goneraw.com website. Guest guest
I expect you've found out all about Nama Shoya by now but if not - it is unpasturised soy sauce so therefore not BBD. The only soy product they say we can eat is soy lecithin. Since starting the BBD I steered clear of all Eastern foods as so many rely on soy cauce. Now I've come up with a passable substitute and use balsamic vinegar, garlic and a little sea salt. If you use ginger in the recipe it doesn't notice too much that there is no soy sauce. Beware of Tamari too - it is still soy sauce, just usually gluten-free so OK for those still doing soy, but not us on the BBD. Janet To: mscured From: rubybaweja@... Guest guest
Try Umeboshi plum vinegar for a salty but deeper flavor. It's a fermented plum product, no msg and nothing that goes against the BBD rules. > > > I expect you've found out all about Nama Shoya by now but if not - it is unpasturised soy sauce so therefore not BBD.
