COPD is not an absolute contraindication to methotrexate therapy.

Hi Maxine

I have Asthma especially in the spring, as well as Sleep Apnea. My

Pulmonary Dr said the it was ok to take it but you would need a chest x-ray

to make sure it was not causing problems. I can't take it due to side

effects but is can be given if watched.

Methotrexate can cause in rare circumstances pulmonary fibrosis.
