Guest guest
Willisa, I am so glad to hear your surgery is over and it sounds like you got through it pretty well (considering). The gift of the roses was so sweet and I think the idea of drying the petals and keeping in the silver box is just, well, wonderful. I know many of us have searched for ways to memorialize our lost ones. Remember to take good care of yourself throughout the healing process. It takes time both physically and emotionally. Thanks for updating us on your surgery, and keep in touch. Dana
Guest guest
Willisa, I'm glad to hear that your surgery went well (as well as can be expected under the circumstances anyway). It sounds like dp put a lot of thought into the roses and the box. I'm glad that we were able to offer you some support during this time. Remember, you can always post here for anything! You can also email me privately if you ever want to... Amy11679@... Guest guest
Willisa, How wonderful of your dp! I'm glad he was able to understand how traumatic and painful losing a baby is and take part in memoralizing the baby. It sounds like your physical recovery is going well. Will you actually be in the ballet concert? I was up and moving around a few days after my surgery, but I never would have been able to do something like that (maybe I'm just a wimp). -Amy R
Guest guest
Willsa, I'm glad the surgery went well and you are on the road to a " physical " recovery. But, I just wish you'd had enough strength and not been in such pain to have punched the Dr. said that rude thing to you right in the nose! As if he thought that was comforting to you!!! Take Care,
Guest guest
Willisa, I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. That is a wonderful way to remember the baby, with the little silver box and the roses. I have to tell you that I was up out of bed the next day, so don't feel guilty about recovering quickly, you are lucky in that respect. I know when I came out of post-op and was moved to my room I was a wreck too. I cried because it hurt so bad and my Dad and step-mom were there with my dh and they had just found out that I was pg, so a complete suprise to them too, and I was flipping out asking for drugs...oops. Again I am so sorry for your loss. Post whenever you can. Vicki wrosburn@... wrote: > > Dear all, > > First things first I want to thank all of you for saving me. Guest guest
Willisa, I am glad your surgury went ok. I think what that Dr said is horrible! My EP was in March '00 and I just recently suffered a m/c at 6 1/2 weeks so I am deep in the throws of grieving once again. We can get through this all together. Guest guest
Dear Willisa, I hope you are doing okay.Your email sounds like you are.I'm glad your surgery went well(as well as can be expected)As for the doctor I wish you could have punched him. That was very rude.I consider my " FETUS " -a baby.Me and my sister came to the conclusion that doctors, well not all doctors, don't have very much sense.Maybe plenty of book sense, but no common sense. And i like the rose petals idea.I'm glad you found this group, hopefully i'll talk to you again soon.
