Some people are better able to cope with things or have better support systems than others. I don't know if you're on anything yet for the pain or fatigue, but once you find a good combination for you, that will really improve things. I too have Fibromyalgia, along with the RA. I find that the best thing I can do is to pace myself. I'm used to getting everything done all at once, so this has been a huge change for me. The good thing about painting is that you'd be able to set yourself up at home so you wouldn't have to travel anywhere to do it.
