Guest guest
Foot drag, unsteady gait, blurred vision, slurred speech were my first symptoms. Others have optic neuritis. There are different types of MS so don't be scared of the diagnosis. Some people have it all their lives and don't even need a cane to walk. Janet To: mscured From: tferrill1@... The doctor thought I was having Migraines so that is why he did the MRI on my brain. He just happen to find the MS. Does it take awhile for symptoms to show up? If so, what are some of the first signs? _________________________________________________________________ Windows Live: Friends get your Flickr, Yelp, and Digg updates when they e-mail you. http://www.microsoft.com/middleeast/windows/windowslive/see-it-in-action/social-\ network-basics.aspx?ocid=PID23461::T:WLMTAGL:ON:WL:en-xm:SI_SB_3:092010
Guest guest
Although I have lesions on my brain, and big ones, I never have kept any symptoms to worry about. This started back in the late 80's. I'm 65 years old how and consider myself very healthy and stronger than some younger friends. I'd suggest eating healthy, get good sleep and exercise and DON'T WORRY! Alice Alley Riner, VA www.photosbyalice.com To: mscured From: tferrill1@... Guest guest
That's great that you have no symptoms so hopefully you can stay on top of things and keep it that way. Before my diagnosis, I started getting really weird headaches as well. They'd keep me in bed for a day or 2 and stay for a week or so. Six months later I had optic neuritis which lead to an MRI and a diagnosis. I've suffered fatigue, dizziness, severe sleepiness and blurry vision for several years. Those are my issues and from what I've seen and read from others, everyone is different in their symptoms. Theresa (diagnosed July 2008) > > I've been diagnosed with MS after I had a Brain MRI.
