The hospital can not get blood out of a stone....... I sincerely wish you and your lovrd ones a warm and loving holiday.... Raniolo From: Dennis W <betnden@...> Subject: [ ] Have you ever had " " < > Date: Monday, December 8, 2008, 10:04 PM a BAD month? A few weeks ago, I was tested by a physical therapist because I need a power chair instead of the too-large scooter I've had since '94. I had in my head that with the damage of the RA, there would be no problem being approved. It turns out that I have been approved for one with 2 extras, adjustable arm rests and leg rests! Approval was not associated with the RA, but because of my heart. The test was on a Wednesday and Friday I had a malfunction, dim vision and light-headiness for about 15 seconds. It happened later that evening, but only for 2-3 seconds. There have been no recurrences or other problems since then. Now Betty, who was evaluated with me by the PT, is being tested for heart and pulmonary. Every time she does anything physical, she runs out of air. It only got bad in this same period. She's a little jealous because she can't have a new chair. Oh, yeah, the hospital decided not to extend their help in paying our bills, and didn't even tell us, we just started getting bills and bills. It's just in time for Christmas. I'm beginning to think bah-humbug.. .. Dennis in eastexas

Guest guest
I knew there was something else but couldn't remember. Last week I learned I now have cancer. It's insignificant right now but who knows? Guest guest
Dennis, nobody likes to hear the big " C " word. I'm sorry you have this added to your list of ailments. What kind of cancer is it? A few months ago my brother was diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is taking hormones and then will have radiation treatments. Many people recover nicely from cancer, me included. Wishing you the best, Sue On Tuesday, December 9, 2008, at 11:05 AM, Dennis W wrote: > I knew there was something else but couldn't remember. Guest guest
I'm not sure what it really is. I'm supposed to see that doctor Thursday and will know more then. Even though my father died of liver cancer, I'm not worried about me until I get more news. I'll live to 100, 3 of my close ancestors did. Guest guest
(((((Dennis & Betty))))) Ya'll have certainly been through the wringer lately. And now for you, Dennis, to be diagnosed with cancer on top of everything else? If I may ask - what kind of cancer and how can they be so sure its " insignificant " right now? My prayers are with you. Keep your spirits and your humor up. They say laughter is the best medicine and you certainly have the gift to invoke the giggles in me. Take care. God Bless............Doreen > > I knew there was something else but couldn't remember. Last week I > learned I now have cancer.
