Interesting to hear that you're using minocycline Fiona. Do you know

that minocycline and plaquenil are synergistic, that taken together

they are very effective. I was on both until early this year when I

became sensitive to plaquenil (extremely rare reaction apparently).

Now just using minocycline and finally feeling pretty well.

, I would try the antibiotic therapy. There is an interesting

article at the website below which gives information about mycoplasma

bacteria, a " stealth pathogen " , which can cause so many immune

diseases and especially the inflammatory ones.

I have RA, and my thumb became numb over night, tingling one gtime, then feeling

as if teh whole hand is on fire....anyone else ????
