Guest guest
Interesting topic - and 'timely'!! I notice almost the exact same thing (still trying to figure it out). I use the patch, Ortho Evra, b/c I don't remember pills always. But I've had some 'spotting', and have just started noticing/recording changes with my symptoms and what my 'cycle' is doing. I've been considering dropping any contriception, but my husband and I are not in a place to add a 2nd child.... Sorry, no suggestions, but VERY good topic - I'm going to investigate the hormones more! > > > For the past year, I experience a very extreme fatigue and weakness two > > weeks before my menstural cycle begins. Guest guest
i experience this as well, usually the first few days before my period and the first few days of it. during my pregnancy, conversely, esp. the first 6 months, was feeling grand. had one neurologist who was going to help me out with progesterone supplementation but then kaiser promptly fired her for helping people. any ideas about how and where i could get this done and hopefully paid for would be welcome, i am fresh out of moola at this point. happy t-day, all! very thankful to have you all in my life. also, was wondering if you wanted to share ideas about what you're going to eat tomorrow. max and i are doing turkey with rice/veg stuffing, cranberry sauce with agave sweetening, no-crust pumpkin pie made with coconut milk and an egg, and brussels sprouts with pecans. yummerino! aviva
Guest guest
> > During pregnancy in the 3rd trimester is the best time for people Hi! I take estriol--8mg/day to try and simulate the pregnancy protection. I also use a progesterone cream to keep things in balance. I've had great symptom results with it---huge difference with bladder issues. Estriol is supposed to be a pretty safe form of estrogen---much better than estrodine. It is the pregnancy form. Mine comes from a compounding pharmacist. I've been thinking about prolactin as well but I haven't seen enough research on it with ms. Guest guest
I have just noticed about my menstural cycle. I was asking myself yesterday, " why am I so tired and weak lately? " I didnt think about it till I read this topic. SO is it better to be on the pill than not? > > > > > > During pregnancy in the 3rd trimester is the best time for people > > Hi! Guest guest
Hi, Could you please tell me what other symptom relief you have found with the estriol-- you mentioned relief from bladder issues and I was wondering what other symptom relief you have noticed. Thanks very much! Best, > > > > > > During pregnancy in the 3rd trimester is the best time for people > > Hi! I take estriol--8mg/day to try and simulate the pregnancy > protection. Guest guest
Hi Ephilippp, Do you know what dosage of progesterone cream you take and is it from a compounding pharmacy or over-the-counter? The reason I ask is that I have low progesterone and normal estrogen levels. I have been taking progesterone cream for over a year but upon re-measuring of my progesterone level, it did no go up. In fact, it went down a couple of points. btw--I heard the MS Society (yuck, I hate them) was doing a study of hormone therapy for MS people. Though I don't trust them, I would be interested in hearing the results, if anyone knows anything about it. Thanks, > > > > > > During pregnancy in the 3rd trimester is the best time for people > > Hi! I take estriol--8mg/day to try and simulate the pregnancy > protection. Guest guest
Hi Haidy, 2 weeks before AF (Aunt Flow) arrives is usually the day of ovulation, and the day that the body starts to produce progesterone. The body continues to produce progesterone for 2 weeks, and then stops. The sudden drop in progesterone causes AF to arrive. Interesting that your fatigue coincides with the time that your body produces progesterone. According to this website: http://www.candidayeastkillers.com/greatest-threat.htm Yeast (candida) feeds on progesterone. Candida can cause extreme fatigue, especially if your body has an over-growth of candida. BCPs can actually make candida worse. Have you tried doing a candida cleanse, or a candida control program? Of course, this is just 1 possiblity. I hope you can get it figured out soon. Cara > > For the past year, I experience a very extreme fatigue and weakness two weeks before my menstural cycle begins.
