Guest guest
Hi ! You are fortunate to do as much as you do with as little disability as you have...:-) Magnesium is generally helpful for all muscle soreness. I would recommend 250mg twice a day to see if it helps. Magnesium can cause loose bowels though (which for most people is not a problem) so start out with 250Mg at night and then add the morning dosage after a week. There are several types of Magnesium supplements. Magnesium oxide is the cheapest but also the hardest to assimilate. Magnesium citrate is considered to be better for you and Magnesium Orotate is the best. Here is a link to an overview of magnesium which may help you. http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tname=nutrient & dbid=75 Tom Nesler -----Original Message----- From: mscured [mailto:mscured ] On Behalf Of reneesbay Hello All! I am new to this discussion group. Already I have found many usefull tips and ideas, and I thankyou. Here is my delima, I'm a 47 year old woman thriving with MS sinc 1997. On a betaferon 3x a week. Sometimes my legs hurt just because I've done too much the day before and they are after all 47 years old. Not every ache and pain I have is MS related, and I sometimes have trouble telling the difference. I can't afford to run to my Nuerologist every time I have an owie but I'm often concerned about waiting too long to report said pain. I know there is no sure fire way to know but would like feed back on how to determine the difference. Still trying
