Guest guest
kami and group; Oh wow, that is wonderful. My rheumy is OK but she don't talk long she acts like there is a fire about to be started and better hurry. She explains everything twice and gives me an option. I had to come in and firmly let her know I was suffering from so much pain. She has got more aggressive with my RA and Osteo A. but I still have pain. It is not constant any more at least. I am so very happy your visit with your rheumy turned out so good. God bless and take care. gentle hugs Clora ********************************************************************************\ ****************** From: ~ Kami ~ <kamilleon@...> Subject: [ ] Back On MTX " " < > Date: Wednesday, November 26, 2008, 9:16 PM Had a fantastic visit with my rheumy today. I love the fact that he sits and talks with me, discusses all options, and then basically let me form my own treatment plan. LOL We discussed how well I felt the MTX + Humira worked for me. The only downside was my mood swings. The most important thing to me is that THAT combo worked. So.... after much consideration and talking about it, I asked him if we could try the MTX at a lower dose (I was taking 8 pills.. I will now take 4 pills) along with the Humira WEEKLY. He agreed. Well, he agreed as long as I would agree to go weekly instead of 10 days Humira. So.... I restarted MTX tonight and will inject on Saturday. He also gave me a new prescription for a Z-pak with a refill in case I get a rebound infection. So.... wish me luck!!!!! And again...for those of you afraid to take MTX, I was once in your shoes and fought hard NOT to take it but IT WORKS!!!! HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!! *~ Kami ~*

If it doesn't get your point across at least it will put her at ease lol Sharon of OZ > > Sue and group; > >
