Guest guest Posted November 20, 2002 Report Share Posted November 20, 2002 Dear Jacquie: Im behind the times as usual, but I thought I would share a rather funny story about Beta fish and my son ph.. We had to take ph to the Lab, and have blood drawn, which was an extremely explosive event during which I had to sit in a corner on the floor and wrap my legs and arms around him to keep him still... He refered to the needle as: " like a shake thru a straw " which is another funny story I will tell when possible anyway,, I decided to buy him a beta fish for the event and he named it Maku which is a blue Bionicle (bionicles are obsession for him currently).. about a week later, nathan and I stumbled into the kitchen to find a chair up to the shelf with the tank. The fish was missing. Both the microwave and the oven were open. Maku was gone. wrote in his school journal: " We beleive ph made a fish snack for the cat " ... we never saw Maku and the secret lies within ph's limited speech..
