Rituxin infusion

Well I had off work yesterday and received my first Rituxin

infusion... Ugh! I was there for six hours... My 12year old

daughter gave me her favorite book to read, so I was able to get 1/2

way through it with an occasionally (oh boy, I'd better close my eyes)

as the words started jumping around the page... All in all it was

pretty acceptable I was occasionally dissy and extremely exhausted but

I did not have any additional pain or severe reactions (so that was

good). Plus reading my daughters book will give us more to talk

about for a couple of weeks, especially since the movie just came out,

and she's suppose to go see it with a friend this weekend.... I'll

wait for the video, as I hate crowds... (For those interested, the

book is called, " Twilight " ... So far its pretty interesting).

I was suppose to go to work today, but quickly realized at 5:30 this

morning that I wasn't about to move. I felt like a herd of elephants

used my body as a football field. So I turned off my alarm and

pulled the covers over my head. I finally woke back up at 8:30 and

remembered I forgot/neglected to call out of work... So I handled that

and then gimped my way to get a warm shower... Wow! how good that

felt! I am still very tired, and a little sore, but nothing that

isn't manageable.

I plan to take it easy all day and tomorrow, and hopefully give the

new medicine a chance to help before I try to move to much....

Fortunately, I do not need to cook for Thanksgiving as we will be

going to my mother-in-laws.... I normally bake the pies, but this year

(like I read on another post) I will be getting them from a local

bakery... Hopefully they will be as good as mine... (I'm pretty

picky...LOL) I have never been able to cook very well, but I've

always enjoyed baking! I'm still working on baking as well as my 82

year old aunt, but I'm getting closer...

I probably will not be able to sign back on later, so I would like to

wish everyone a wonderfully pain free (or at least less pain)

Thanksgiving! And may those who are traveling, have a safe return home.

Thanks for listening to me once again...

Bonnie
