Guest guest
Clora and all I smoked for thirty years before I decided to quit. And it was not easy. I had several set backs and fell off the so called wagon. Usually for a few months I could quit, but once I actually made it two years. It is not an easy thing to do. This last and hopefully final time I used the commit lozenges, sanax for my nerves, lavendar bath beads for calming, plus I was away with a friend who did not smoke attending school. We took her vehicle and Nebraska had just enforced the clean air act so I was not allowed to stand on public property and smoke, the motel and classrooms were all smoke free, as she informed me was he car, so for me I was in a predicament on not being allowed to smoke for seven days. After that long I could see starting up again. I now have three years and counting, but there is no guarantee that I will never smoke again. Nothing is wrong with your memory. Thanks Doreen. I want the truth and I am proud of you for your response and all the response's every one gave. We all are who we are. It is a horribly addictive habit. Don't beat yourself up because you backslid. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again wiser than before because you are more aware of what caused the slip. I think it was that said to make all the smokers go outside if they are going to smoke. I agree. You HAVE to have a totally clean environment if you are going to succeed. And the people around you HAVE to love you enough to do whatever its going to take to help you become healthier. You already are suffering from CHF and everytime you light up a cigarette, you are just putting one more nail into your coffin. I'm sorry if this sounds harsh - its just a loving butt kicking. YOU CAN DO THIS! We're here for you. Sign up with www.becomeanex. org. The have a proven program that works. Best of luck to you......... .....Doreen > > > Sorry I didn't make it.
