Guest guest
Hey, Brat, didn't anyone tell you we heard from Debs? Yeah, she is awaiting another surgery on that knee to have it frozen. The replacement rejected, big time, and in order to save her leg they are going to freeze the joint. She sounded ok, but down some. I wrote her back and asked her to have her hubby keep us updated. When do you get your new 'puter? Yippee. Miss ya. Love, MM

Guest guest
Hi Autumn, I don't think your name is weird. I know a couple of girls named Autumn, 1 Winter and 1 Summer. I have a friend who promises me that she has a friend who has named her children: Brodeo, Arena, and last but not least, Justa Cowgirl. Poor little kids This friend of mine is very trustworthy, but I still wonder. I am so glad you have joined our group. I'm a B. and am one of the Moderators. I'm just barely starting out. I'm so new to the job I'm not even sure I've spelled it right. I am 51 and have been married for 32 years to a wonderful man. We have two grown, married sons. Our oldest son has 3 small children, the oldest of which started Kindergarten this year. I worked as a nurse until my health forced me to quit. It has been several years, but I still miss it. I have had health problems all my life. I was diagnosed with Lupus and fibromyalgia about 7 years ago, but I have had symptoms a lot longer than that. I rarely have what I could really call a good day. I hurt all the time from moderate to bad to awful. I have trouble with my legs pulling, especially at night. I have irritable bowel syndrome, which is loads of fun. And I also struggle with depression. There's more, but it gets kind of hard sometimes to go into too much detail. I'm struggling now, and am relying a lot on the support from the group. When I first joined the group I wondered why I wasn't hearing back from specific people. I came to the conclusion she just didn't want to be friendly with me. In my case, I was wrong. The person I am thinking about started into a really bad flare just about the time I joined the group. She didn't feel like going online and reading through all the posts. She never even saw the post (E-mail) I had written to her. When she started back with the group I asked her what I had done to offend her. She had no clue what I was talking about. She and I are pretty good friends now. I hope you will enjoy with wonderful group. Feel free to write what you think and feel and ask for help if you need it. Our information and help comes in the form of the written word, but it sure has worked for me. has provided us with an incredible amount of very valuable information about Lupus, Fibromyalgia and many other things including diabetes. You will find there are several group members who also have diabetes. hello i just wanted to tell you about myself since i am new here.. my name is autumn (i know weird name) I have been married for 8 years.. Guest guest
Hi everybody, Thanks for the well wishes. I'm back at work today. Probably not for a full day but I was going stir crazy at home..... All that laying around and thinking.... I'm pretty lucky because I've never run a fever and the only major complaint I have is that my chest is so tight. It's harder to breathe. I think I headed it off at the pass with the Levaquin. My daughter who is 21 also got sick and she's been running a fever over 102 for three days. She doesn't live with me which is a good and bad thing. I want to take care of her, but I wouldn't have been able to..... I love you all and I agree with Joyce, we have to live each day to its fullest. Each day is a gift from God. Find the beauty. It's there somewhere!! Today is a cold day in Chicago but the sun is shining brightly. I'm thankful to be alive and I'm thankful for this wonderful group of caring, compassionate, personality-plus, loving people!! You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Guest guest
Leanne Thats the hardest thing yet for me and I think for many others, our desires to help or take care of others. Oh, mommy so wants to do something for her little girl, . It doesn't matter than she's a perfectly capable adult. It hits me when gets sick. If I were sick and needed something she'd bring it to me, but I can't go help her in the same way. Of course I have food here all the time and she doesn't. But I think I relayed my espionage type story last time of dealing within my limitations. I picked her food up that she called in for take out and I drove and opened her garage door then the door to her laundry room. I put it on her clothes dryer. She kept the door from the laundry room to the house closed. Oh, and I did use baby wipes to open the doors. Then I closed the laundry room door, left the garage and closed that door and called to make sure she knew the exchange was complete. I took my food home and ate. I would have preferred to have eaten with her but for the first time in my life I'm wiser than that. All you parents with younger kids, you must protect yourselves. While you can't altogether, get surgical masks and lots of wipes and sanitizer and don't hug and kiss or let them breathe directly on you. Your life depends on it. Them having you around healthy depends on it. So you're doing it as much for them as yourself. > > Hi everybody, > > Thanks for the well wishes. I'm back at work today.
