This last week my husband (and cook/carer) has had flu and I have been on a sort of enforced fast. I have still eaten sparingly in the evenings but to help matters I cut out other meals. For some reason (is it fasting?) my legs have behaved astonishingly well in yoga and I feel on top form. OK I am not exactly walking around the place, but the transfer from wheelchair to toilet is easier. It could be that, it could be a sudden kick in of Lion's Mane and Serrazimes. It could be my immune system having to deal with fighting off viruses......................... I will certainly try it again next month to see if I can figure out what is helping and why. First I echoed Alison on the chlorella, now I'm echoing you. lol I agree, fasting has always stopped symptoms for me as well. Even a short water-only fast, 32-36 hours total, will usually do the trick. I would suggest experimenting with a short water fast. I go from Friday after dinner, through Saturday, then break the fast Sunday morning. You could try it on a day that you aren't doing yoga or anything too strenuous, then see how your legs perform on the day you break the fast. Juice fasts (I like the Master Cleanse) are awesome, but your body can get more done in shorter time on a true water-only fast. Problem is we can't do that for very long unless we're staying in bed!
