My Rheumy had me on 10mg of Prednisone, I weaned down to 5mg and ended up with a flare around Thanksgiving time, so had to go back to 10mg for 5 days. I went back to 5mg after that and was doing pretty good. Saturday I started on 2.5mg but I don't know how long I'll be able to stay at this dose, though. Saturday was ok, then yesterday I could feel my shoulder starting to flare. I'm still at 2.5mg today, but feel like crap. Tomorrow is my MTX injection, so I'm holding out hoping that will kick things straight again. It sucks, doesn't it?............Doreen > > I wish it was this easy to get off Prednisone!
