Guest guest
My understanding of C. pneumonia is that is goes into different states depending on whether it is in Active or Cryptiv form and that standard tests do not always identify it. Other than the Dr. Wheldon web site, the main CPN resource is www.cpnhelp.org and there is a very -large- printable handbook there ( http://www.cpnhelp.org/print/book/export/html/408 ) with a MS section in it. This site also has lot of patient experiences and Dr. Wheldon's wife posts there from time to time. I'm just starting month 3 of the ABX protocol and so far the greatest effect has been with the Metronidazole (Flagyl) which caused a repeat of a very old respiratory infection I had about a year before the onset of MS. There have been no 'side effects' of the ABX that I am aware of, other than not being able to go in direct sunlight (the Doxycycline) and the reaction to the Metronidazole (Flagyl) which is usual and a positive effect. The names of the antibiotics and dosages are all on the Dr. Wheldon web site ( http://www.davidwheldon.co.uk/ms-treatment1.html ) look for the section titled " A schedule of treatment. " . I'm following this, including the N-Acetyl Cysteine amino acid supplement. I feel very positive about this and I'll keep you updated. Best Dan .. > Interesting.
