Guest guest
I don't have access to a sauna but I do have a hot tub and love it.  There are not many days that I am not in it-winter and summer.  A lot of days I start my day by getting in it because it helps loosen up the joints  and then lots of nights I get in it as it helps me relax before bed.  linda s From: fly_ul <fly_ul@...> Subject: [ ] RA treatment hot tub vs sauna Date: Tuesday, November 24, 2009, 8:15 AM  I am thinking of buying a hot tub or a sauna to help my wife with her RA. I have two questions 1. Will a hot tub or sauna work 2. If so which one is best? Thanks in advance Jeff
Guest guest
HOT TUB!!! That's what I did and it works great, plus it'll allow you to join in. Floating in the water takes pressure off the joints. She'll love you for it. Guest guest
Yes! Hot tub indeed. I have one and while submerged, the gravity is lifted off the joints and I get relief while under water. My vote is the hot tub! Guest guest
Hot tub definitely worked for me. I could sit down in the middle with my legs cross and do arm exercises. I could sit on one of the seats and do leg exercises. This got me going in the morning and I did it again at night. It is amazing how the hot water ( I had mine set at 102 degrees) helps you. I don't think I would have been able to continue work without it. I am not sure about the sauna. I think that would be great as well. I know that they are good for removing toxins. I think you should let your wife know what your thinking and let he in on the decision. h
