Irene...I think it's you who has a sister/mom to help.....but you say your mom hasn't seen you? Where is she? Gee, girl, you had better prepare her. If you were my child I'd have a stroke!!

Does your sister walk through this with you...day to day to day? I'm thinking you said you go there for dinner once in awhile, or was that someone else? Can't possibly remember little details about everyone, sorry.

What was the dx/ outcome in 1999?

Hi Sher...The diagnosis was the same narrowing(stricture) and bowel obstruction. She lives 5 hours from me. I have prepared her, for what's going to happen in the next few weeks....I had prepared about 9 years ago, with what happens with this disease Crohn's and complications, meds, hospitalizations etc...I do go at my sister's place to have dinner and sp spend the weekends, but because now I'm spending weekends at work. I haven't been at her place. I do see her every weekend. On the 18th/08, she's coming with me at the appointment, she doesn't really want to come, but I told her, I'm not going to face that dr, by myself. She had also met him 9 years ago and she didn't really like him especially attitude towards the patient.

Sher...I have already warned her about it....last week about the weight. She ain't happy about it. She wouldn't have minded if I was losing it normally...but not this way....

Sher....yes I'm very close to my mom. If you're talking about distance were about 5-6 hours away by train or by car and depending on traffic it's close to 8-9hrs.

thanks Sher....I'm just looking forward to San ...in order for good news to come, I'll have to wait until the end of the week of March 21st, but even then....who knows.....

The GI, I'm seeing on the 18th, I don't trust him and I wouldn't either recommend him to my worst enemy.

Yes, I know you don't trust him and I realize it must be very difficult to see a Dr. under these circumstances. But God is bigger! We'll trust that God will use this dork's expertise and you will be helped through him in spite of himself!
