Most of us post when we have a problem. It has been so good to read the positives of people quitting smoking. Of almost relapsing, but not quite. And of Clora trying again after not making it the first time. It just feels good to read of your success. dd ************ **One site keeps you connected to all your email: AOL Mail, Gmail, and Mail. Guest guest
My Rhu doc said I would probably always be on 5 mg. So I've pretty much accepted that. dd In a message dated 12/21/2008 11:41:34 A.M. Central Standard Time, betnden@... writes: I wish it was this easy to get off Prednisone! I've been down to as little as 5 mg, but am back at 10 mg per day because I can't seem to take the pain and suffering for long. Now with my back feeling bad again, I might as well stay at this level and quit changing 'for changes sake'. Happy Holidays, all! **************One site keeps you connected to all your email: AOL Mail, Gmail, and Mail. Try it now. Guest guest
Hi Dennis: I have tried so many times to get off the prednisone, but I have never been successful. The lowest I can tolerate is 5 mg. a day. Since my fall in August, I have been on 10mg. I too, have resigned myself that I will always be on Prednisone. It works wonderfully for me. My RA has been wonderful since my last flare in August. I hate the weight gain from it, but I love not being in pain and suffering. I have a better quality of life with Prednisone. Wishing you and Betty a very Merry Christmas, and pain free days. Hugs, Barbara > > My Rhu doc said I would probably always be on 5 mg. > > So I've pretty much accepted that. > > dd > > > In a message dated 12/21/2008 11:41:34 A.M.
