This list is by nature one where we read a lot of negatives. Most of us post

when we have a problem.

It has been so good to read the positives of people quitting smoking.

Of almost relapsing, but not quite. And of Clora trying again

after not making it the first time.

It just feels good to read of your success.

My Rhu doc said I would probably always be on 5 mg.

So I've pretty much accepted that.

stay at this level and quit changing 'for changes sake'.

Happy Holidays, all!

Hi Dennis:

I have tried so many times to get off the prednisone, but I have never

been successful.

The lowest I can tolerate is 5 mg. a day. Since my fall in August, I

have been on 10mg. I too, have resigned myself that I will always be on

Prednisone. It works wonderfully for me. My RA has been wonderful

since my last flare in August.

I hate the weight gain from it, but I love not being in pain and

suffering. I have a better quality of life with Prednisone.

Wishing you and Betty a very Merry Christmas, and pain free days.

Hugs,

Barbara
