Sept 25th INTERNATIONAL ATAXIA AWARENESS DAY

Mark your calendars for September 25, 2000 first ever INTERNATIONAL ATAXIA AWARENESS DAY! We hope to hear of events all around the world and our first year to be a success and grow every year. National Ataxia Foundation has been preparing groundwork. See the current Summer 2000 issue of GENERATIONS page 4 & 5 for an article by Polhill. Also see the yellow and blue button link on www.ataxia.org for IAAD. Chapters, support groups and ambassadors of NAF will receive a special packet in the mail. Members can request it from naf@... and all other worldwide organizations will receive a packet so they can design something for their area. Folks not members of NAF will be directed to get info from their area. has sent articles for all the various groups. A welcome guide with many ideas and info is linked f'rom the NAF www.ataxia.org link, a printable proclamation, press release and poster is there too.

Many of us from around the world have worked very hard on this event and we're hoping everyone will become involved. Please use your own creativity and talents to ensure everyone knows of ATAXIA.
