Guest guest
Hi Bernie, Actually the product is Detoxmax Plus, not detoxamin plus and it is an oral chelating therapy not a suppository. The owner of the company is the well respected Sir Arnold Takemoto, who has been a biochemist and researcher for I think 30 plus years and is a humanitarian who has worked with doctors finding treatments for cancer, autoimmune and other illnesses and his bio is below: http://www.cancercontrolsociety.com/bio2002/takemoto.html The Detoxmax plus is supposed to bridge the blood brain barrier and according to the company has been effective in clinical studies of removing mercury as well as aluminum and other toxic metals. His formula has a patent on it and its supposed to be different in that the others cannot bridge the blood brain barrier. You can contact the company directly if you have further questions and perhaps request information to back their studies.  I related my personal experiences only because Detox Max Plus has helped my MS,  especially while in exacerbation mode I notice a substantial improvement of my symptoms. I was hoping to share this info with others, and I am really surprised that not that many people have heard about Detoxmax Plus. However, I phoned the company for the first time ever only days ago and they would prefer to keep a low profile and I really wish that it didnt have to be that way. I know they are well received in Europe and it sounds like they may relocate out of the USA not too far in the future but I hope that doesnt happen because I would like to continue my heavy metal detoxification regimen.   You mentioned a link between ms and aluminum and I saw an interesting scientific article about aluminum and multiple sclerosis here on a website in the UK http://www.msrc.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=show & pageid=1433 & CFID=3253612 & CFTOKEN\ =44354511 There is also mention in the above article about urinary excretion of IRON being elevated in MS patients.   Interestingly, urinary excretion of silicon, the " natural " atagonist to the potential toxicity of aluminum was DECREASED in MS and particulary in the secondary progressive form of the disease, according to the above article.  I also found another interesting scientific article about the BLOOD BRAIN BARRIER, and a recent discovery of zonulin, a molecule in the human body called haptoglobin 2 precursor which is a marker of inflammation in the body and is linked to multiple sclerosis and celiac disease:    http://www.msrc.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=show & pageid=1846      ________________________________ To: mscured <mscured > Sent: Wed, February 17, 2010 9:24:56 AM Subject: Re: Has anyone else had successful results taking DetoxmaminPlus?  I don't have experience with the product, but there are a lot of manufacturer' s who have oral EDTA supplement and its not clear this one is better than the others. Also, if the main issue is mercury, EDTA is likely not the best choice. EDTA is best known for lead detox. If the issue is iron, the IP6 might be better. Is this a suppository product? Does anyone know of clinical experience comparing DetoxaminPlus to anything else for any specific problems? Bernie
