Carolyn, I also suffered many falls over the years without broken

bones. I was shocked when my bone density test results were about a

bad as they could be short of complete meltdown. After a year on

Fosamax I show significant improvement. Please do not delay getting

the test. Start with the heel only for about $20-30 and go for the

more expensive hip or hip/spine one if needed. My insurance covered

80% of the $200 cost.
