and ,

I am so sad to here that Staci has move on out of your loving care. You were always such a support on here. Hope we can support you now. Glad you can find comfort somehow.. but I just can only imagine the void this makes in your lives. If this meteror shower actually happens in the next few hours I will wish upon a falling "star" for your healing and her new life as an angel.

Staci's our angel...

Staci passed away in her sleep the morning of Sept. 24. Dr. Boles put "hypoglycemia" on the death certificate. CPR, 911, ER was to no a vail. I truly feel she went instantly to heaven, the time and way she chose to. She was ok at 6:30a.m. gt feeding not finished yet-- back to sleep--cold, pale, not breathing at 7. I haven't written about it until now but will write more later. Staci was almost 8 years old. , ( & Staci) Echert QUOTE OF THE DAY And the end of all our searching shall be to return to the place where we started and know it for the first time. - T.S. Eliot With United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation funding, Staci's doctor discovered Staci's genetic disorder, MIDS, Maternally Inherited Dysautonomia Syndrome. Now we know Staci's completed her mission on earth. We were blessed to be selected as her parents. Please contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.

and - I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. Ever since I first started following this list, you have been such a forceful presence and a support for so many people, and I felt as though I knew about Staci even though I never met her (I did see her at the San Diego conference and was so glad that she could be there). Although I don't know you, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you both and with Staci.
