Guest guest
Barbara and group; Thanks so much Barbara. I hope one of my doctors will order me a walker. I really need one. I need to walk but I am afraid cause I can't see my feet. I am clumsy and fall a lot. I asked my rheumy and she said to ask my cardiologist. So I will ask, and see what he says the 24th. Awe ty, it takes a sweety to know a sweety haaaaa. I just thought of that. Like we use to say to each other when we were children. God bless and take care. gentle hugs Clora *********************************************************** From: Barbara <bcreedon@...> Subject: [ ] Clora and walker Date: Wednesday, November 19, 2008, 3:06 PM Hi Clora: Medicare paid for my walker, and also a cane. I am sure your heart dr. can give you the RX for the walker. I am sorry you fell..... please be more careful. You are lucky you didn't break any bones!!!! Usually when you need a walker, you can have some P.T. so you know how to use the walker correctly. Just ask your Dr. He should have all the answers for you. Wishing you pain free days. You are a sweet, caring, woman. Take care of yourself. Always in my prayers. Hugs, Barbara
Guest guest
Hi Clora: I am so happy you had a wonderful birthday. I am also happy that you stopped smoking, and I hope the battle isn't to awful for you. It's been 27 years since I stopped smoking. I think of you often, and pray you will be successful in giving up the cigaretts. I know you can do it, and I also know how hard it is to give them up. Keep thinking of your birthday party and chocolate cake. I too love chocolate cake. It will make you smile. I too, had wonderful birthday parties. My mother would make me my favorite chocolate cake, and it was so yummy. Have a wonderful day, and please continue trying to get off the cigaretts. You will feel like a new woman. Good luck with that battle. God Bless you, and know that I am praying for your success. Guest guest
Barbara and group; I always put group here cause I want the group to know they are part of my post, even though they see it I like them to be envited to my post. Thanks Barbara I did have a wonderful birthday. Everyone came to visit lot of smokers that day. So my smoke out didnt start untill the next day. At least I did start my quitting smoking. Haaaaaaaaaa It is so awful with out a cigarette, I laugh becaue in the end I can be laughing at all the smokers. (like they did me) Mostly people just wanted to see me healthy. I don't want a cigarette in the bathroom so I am hanging out there. I have cleaned the places that is hard to reach in there haaaaaaaaa. I am weak when it comes to cigarettes so I have put on my tuffest outfit and will fight this habit to the end, this addiction is going out the door. I feel Like a kid again. Sneaking a cigarette last night. Like I did when I was 12 years old. It's ok. I didnt do anymore. It is a battle for me. I am sure it was a battle for anyone that quit. We must have a detemination. We must make our minds up for ourselves to do this. I have taken that step. I feel bad for losing my mind to it last night but I am not letting that make me give up. I had a delicious chocolate cake for my birthday. It had thick rich dark chocolate on it yummmmmmm. I am not allowed sweets, I am a diabetic number 2, so I had a small slice. MY mom don't cook anymore she says she did her time haaaaaaaa. She bought the cake already made. It was so good. I ate my slice very slowly lol. I enjoyed each bite. Everyone that is quitting, I hope you're doing a better job than I am. If I hadn't snuck one I would have felt much better this morning. My family is watching me like a hawk. It's only because they love me so much. Shirley I bet your daughter is so proud of you. It is hard for our non smoking family to put up with that ash tray smell we carried with our bodies while we smoked. I know it's hard hon we will be 3 less people smoking and hurting our bodies in the group. Keep up your strenghth. We can do this. Let us be free from that big cigarette bill every week. God bless everyone gentle kind hugs Clora ************************************************************* > > Hi Clora: > > I am so happy you had a wonderful birthday.
